CASE REACHES OUT TO CUSTOMERS AT SHOWS AND EVENTS ACROSS EUROPE

Throughout the month of April CASE showcased its equipment and services at exhibitions and events across Europe in partnership with its dealers. BAUMA was the main event of the month, but there were many others.

Sweden CASE Days - The month of events kicked off on April 1st and 2nd in Bräkne-Hoby (Ronneby), where CASE importer Maskinia invited customers to discover the latest machines with an impressive display, demonstrations and test drives.

Italy Open Day – Also on April 2nd, Italian customers and dealer salespeople attended the Open Day organised by CASE Construction Equipment Italia in collaboration with Iveco Astra and Petronas.

The event took place in the Buzzi Unicem quarry in Albarola, where 16 CASE models plus Astra HD9 and RD trucks were available for customers and the trade journalists to test drive. In all, 400 people from 150 companies from across Italy took part in the Open Day.

UK: Scotplant and CASE Rodeo – In the UK, CASE, who hosted the stand together with dealer Hodge Plant, had a very successful show, with 29 confirmed machines sold and a record number of participants in the 1st round of the CASE Rodeo Challenge.

Operating the latest CASE 690ST backhoe loader and working against the clock, competitors had to place a number of balls into a basketball net. Coming first with an impressive time of 1:18 was John Jardine, from John Jardine Plant Hire. He will now have to wait to find out what times are posted in the second round at Hillhead to see if he has done enough to secure a place in the finals, which take place in Paris later this year.

France: Operator Days and CASE Rodeo at CCCP – Following the great success of the Operator Days held last November at the CASE Customer Centre Paris, CASE IDF repeated the event in April, inviting construction businesses from the Ile de France area. The event opened with a presentation of CNH Industrial and the CASE product line-up. Then the participating current and prospective customers were able to prove their skills in the first round of the CASE Rodeo and head to the various job sites of the Customer Centre to test drive a variety of machines. Participants were very satisfied with their experience, which confirmed their trust in the CASE brand, as expressed by M. Roméo of construction business SFB, who has several CASE units in his fleet: “I am an unconditional supporter of the brand. I have other brands in my fleet, but none of them is capable of the work I can get done with my CASE CX crawler excavators.”

Spain: Expourense & Expolevante 2016 – In Spain CASE took part in several fairs, such as Expourense in Galicia on April 1st and 2nd with Maexgal and Expolevante in Almería on April 27 to 29 with dealer Grupo Ramal.

In Finland, CASE and its importer Fintractor hosted a weekend event in Manse Mörinät in Tampere.

In Estonia CASE participated with dealer INTRAC Esti in the Maamess fair in Tartu, where they showcased the CX210D crawler excavator, 821F wheel loader and 695ST backhoe loader.

In Lithuania dealer INTRAC Lituva showed a CASE CX18B mini excavator, SV185 skid steer loader, 695ST backhoe loader and CX210D crawler excavator.

FOCUS ON CASE SUCCESS STORIES

D Series Excavators Delight UK Groundwork Contractor
Groundwork contractor J Mousley & Sons has expanded its fleet with the addition of two new CASE crawler excavators, a CX80C and a CX130D from the new D Series range. Based in St Clears, South Wales, J Mousley & Sons work in the construction, recycling, demolition, and agricultural sectors, with particular expertise in sports field drainage. Established 40 years ago, the company has been operating CASE machines for over 30 years. The two new machines were supplied by the local CASE dealer Riverlea Limited, who is located in Whitland, Carmarthenshire and covers South West Wales. Company owner Julian Mousley is extremely impressed with the dealer support and service he receives from Riverlea Ltd. “We have a very long standing relationship with Riverlea, and they always respond at a moment’s notice if required,” says Mr Mousley. “Operator comfort and smooth control also played a part in our decision to purchase these two new machines. These qualities are very important when our operators are working long hours.”

Gebrüder Stolz GmbH expands fleet with 50 CASE compact wheel loaders
CASE Werksniederlassung Unna delivered ten 121F, twenty 221F and twenty 321F compact wheel loaders to Gebrüder Stolz GmbH.

This family-run company was founded in 1875 and has undertaken numerous major construction projects – most recently, the six-lane expansion of the A3 motorway in Geiselwind. Werner Hüfner, managing director, explained the choice of opting for CASE compact wheel loaders was easy on the back of the extremely positive impression left by the 821F wheel loader (already part of the fleet), which has proved itself in harsh conditions.
