A VERY BUSY SEASON OF
SHOWS AND EVENTS |

Our teams across Europe have been very busy through the autumn season, inviting customers and construction operators into the CASE world at numerous events.
The CASE team in Germany organised two big customer events. In Neuching, Bavaria, they worked closely with the team from dealer Eder GmbH, who invited key accounts and potential customers to discover the advantages of the new G-Series wheel loaders and D-Series crawler excavators at a gravel pit. The second event took place in a big quarry near the Andernach CASE store. The guests were welcomed by the CASE team at the Baggerado event centre in Nickenich. They were shuttled in small groups to the quarry, where they had the opportunity to test a complete range of brand new equipment, including the CX750D crawler excavator.
Titan Machinery Bulgaria presented the latest CASE products at the Autumn Technical Fair in Plovdiv. Among the machines exhibited on the stand were the new 821G wheel loader, which won a gold medal; the CX250D crawler excavator, the WX168 wheeled excavator.
Titan Machinery Romania organised an Open Day event at the Circuit Top Cross TCS in Ciolpani, Ilfov county. The impressive display included a CX210 crawler excavator, WX148 wheel excavator, a CX37C mini excavator, a 1650M bulldozer, 580ST and 695ST backhoe loaders, a 821G wheel loader and our SR210 skid steer loader. In France, the “Eagle Découvertes” days at the CASE Customer Centre Paris attracted around 200 CASE and IVECO customers and their dealers. The guests were introduced to all the CASE machines launched in 2017 and to the brand-new IVECO Stralis X-WAY truck developed for construction logistics. They were able to test drive a wide selection of the new CASE machines including graders, dozers and 2 crawler excavators: the CX145D SR and the CX245D SR. The latter featured the new modified boom placement that minimizes the machine’s footprint, resulting in a highly productive and manoeuvrable excavator that is ideal for working in the restricted conditions typically found in road and bridgework, residential projects and urban construction. The participants were impressed by the breadth and quality of the two brands’ complementary offering for the construction industry.
The CASE Customer Centre Paris also welcomed a big group from Spain. CASE Dealers CM93, Coperma, Equipos y Maquinas de Almería, Equipos Mecanicos Murcia, Maquinaria Rey and Ruvicsa invited some of their customers to get to know CASE better and test drive the latest models. As always, the CCCP made available a wide choice of machines for the guests to try out. Particularly popular were the G-Series wheel loaders, the 2050M dozer, the WX168 wheeled excavator and an 836C grader. The new D-Series crawler excavators were also very well represented on the test track with models across the range. All the guests enjoyed the CASE experience very much and we would like to take the opportunity to thank them for coming to the CASE Customer Centre Paris.

CASE EQUIPMENT IMPRESSES
CUSTOMERS ACROSS EUROPE |
CX370D delivers big savings at Herchenberg lava quarry
Karl Rheinard, General Manager at Schaumlava Grube Herchenberg GmbH was persuaded by his driver Christoph Braun to invest in a new CX370D for their "Herchenberg“ quarry, located near Andernach. A short test drive had completely convinced Christoph Braun for the swift hydraulics, powerful performance and the new comfortable cab. "The enormous break out forces with power boost was one of the main reasons we chose the new 40-tonne crawler. With the outstanding power of the new CX370D, most of the time we can break the lava quantities we need without blasting, which means clear cost savings," commented Karl Rheinard.
CX210D saves construction company BARBET €5,000 in 7 months
Quality and productivity are the key deciding factors for Gérard Barbet when choosing new equipment. Seven months ago he took delivery of a new CX210D for his construction company and he is very impressed with its performance: “it uses 40 litres less fuel a day than the machine it has replaced to complete the same amount of work. This means that my company has saved more than €5,000 in fuel over the 7 months of operation.” Rémy, the CX210D’s operator is also very happy with the new machine: “it’s smooth, powerful, and works without constraints: in 1,200 hours of operation, I only had to refill the AdBlue tank 4 times; it’s a record!”
Construction company EIFFAGE chooses the CASE 836C 6x6 grader
The brand new 836C 6x6 grader, bearing the EIFFAGE livery, is already at work in the construction company’s jobsite in Andrezieux Boutheon in the Loire region. The model was chosen for its compact size, its exceptional pushing force, its precision without equal, and the outstanding support of CASE dealer region, Griset Matériel.
Two D-Series crawler excavators return to work at the Pordoi Pass
Società Incremento Turistico Canazei, which manages several ski facilities in the Canazei and Val di Fassa areas, has rented a CASE CX210D and A CX230D crawler excavators for the third year running to prepare the ski slopes, smoothing the surface to facilitate the laying of artificial snow. They started at an altitude of 1900 metres and have already worked their way up to 2300 m, moving great quantities of earth. Klaus Hohenstein, owner of CASE dealer HTM Baumaschinen, explains: “The machines work very long hours from June to October, because there is a lot of work to do. The CASE D-Series excavators are very reliable and their fuel consumption is very low, even at these altitudes.”
ABC Mortel takes delivery of the Netherland’s first CASE 921G
Dutch concrete manufacturer ABC Mortel was the first company in the country to purchase the new CASE 921G wheel loader to start the renewal of its fleet. The choice was based on the previous positive experience with three CASE 821F. Web magazine Bouwmachines covers the story and writes: “the management chose this big machine because it delivers a good performance combined with a completely new cab, and features the latest technologies; it is also two decibels quieter than the previous series.”
